“The problem was right in front of us. We just needed to stop and listen.“
The Conversation That Started It All
It was during a routine client consultation about SharePoint migrations when I heard it again. “We had no idea Microsoft was changing that feature until our users started complaining it looked different.” The IT director across from me looked genuinely frustrated, and I couldn’t blame him.
This wasn’t the first time I’d heard this story. Throughout my years working in Data & AI, SharePoint, and Moodle implementations, the same theme kept surfacing: businesses were constantly caught off-guard by Microsoft 365 changes. Their users were confused, their IT teams were reactive instead of proactive, and everyone felt like they were always one step behind.
That’s when it clicked. The Microsoft 365 Message Center exists, but it’s not working for the people who need it most.
The Reality We All Face
Microsoft 365 is evolving at breakneck speed. With AI and Copilot developments rolling out seemingly every week, the rate of change has accelerated beyond what most organizations can comfortably manage. Features appear, disappear, or transform overnight. What worked yesterday might not work tomorrow.
But here’s the thing – change isn’t the enemy. Unexpected change is.
I realized that organizations weren’t asking Microsoft to slow down (though I’m sure some wished they would). They were asking for something much more reasonable: advance notice, context, and the ability to prepare their teams.
Building Something Better
That’s when I knew we had to build Change Management 365. But I also knew I couldn’t do it alone.
Enter my sister Ellie, who brings a fresh and unique perspective to this industry. While I was deep in the technical weeds, she could see the bigger picture – how these communication gaps affect entire organizations, not just IT departments. Her approach to marketing and user experience has been invaluable in shaping not just how we tell our story, but how we solve the problem itself.
Together, we’ve been working to transform how organizations stay informed about Microsoft 365 changes. We’re not just building another notification system – we’re creating intelligent insights that help different stakeholders understand what changes mean for them specifically.
The Challenge That Drives Us
Our biggest hurdle isn’t technical – it’s organizational. The people who need this information most aren’t always the ones with Message Center access. IT professionals are juggling dozens of priorities. Business leaders need to plan for change but don’t want to wade through technical jargon. End users just want to know if their favorite feature is about to disappear.
Getting Change Management 365 into the hands of decision makers and empowering their internal teams to use it effectively – that’s what keeps us up at night and gets us up in the morning.
Where We’re Headed
Our vision extends far beyond what we’ve built today. We see a future where every user within a business – from the C-suite to the front lines – has access to relevant, timely information about Microsoft 365 changes. We’re working on more products, better notifications, and clearer roadmap insights for all our subscribers.
We want to flip the script from “What changed?” to “What’s changing, and how do we prepare?”
Why This Matters Now
The Microsoft ecosystem has never been more powerful or more complex. Organizations that can stay ahead of changes will thrive. Those that can’t will find themselves constantly playing catch-up, dealing with confused users and missed opportunities.
Change Management 365 exists because we believe every organization deserves to be prepared, not surprised.
